Ruthless Manchester United strengthened their grip on the top three  Manchester United tightened their hold on a top-three spot in the Women's Super League with a dominant victory over a struggling Aston Villa side. Football: Man United fans plan further protest against ownership

Manchester United fans have once again been urged to wear black to protest against the ownership of their club. This idea has come from a significant supporters group, the 1958, who have told fans to wear black when they attend Sunday's match against Arsenal at Old Trafford. Author - Olivia T A spokesperson for the ground said: “The club is slowly dying before our eyes, on and off the pitch, and the blame lies squarely at the current ownership model. The club is facing financial Armageddon. Debt is the road to ruin." In recent months, several cost-cutting and fundraising measures have been implemented following Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS group completing a minority share purchase of 27.7% on February 20 of last year. These measures include the recent decision to set all ticket prices at £66, regardless of age, as well as two rounds of redundancies. Football: FC United of Manchester 3 - 2 Bamber Bridge

An entertaining match in the 7th tier of English football  FC United of Manchester fought off a stubborn Bamber Bridge to claim three points at Broadhurst Park in Moston Author - Olivia T Picture from Lewis Mckenna via Flickr First half goals for Jay Fitzmartin and Dylan Mottley-Henry put FC United firmly in the ascendency, before Jack Baxter’s strike made it 2-1 just before the break.  Former Reading and Hibs forward Adam Le Fondre then scored the hosts third on the hour mark, before an error by Conor O’Keefe gave the visitors a glimpse of hope with time running out. However, The Red Rebels fended off any late comeback attempts and held on to make it back-to-back wins and extend their unbeaten run to six games.
