Kula Shaker and Ocean Colour Scene create a party atmosphere in Manchester A sensational night of music at one of Manchester's most iconic music venues Author - Josh D For some reason, you just knew this was going to be a special night almost immediately. A closer look at Kula Shaker A band that might not necessarily have been as well known to the crowd. 90s Britpop fans will have been well aware, but for younger members of the crowd, Kula Shaker wasn't as well-known as some of their contemporaries. Within minutes though, everyone was certainly enjoying themselves. There is a distinction between being billed as a support act and being labelled a special guest. Kula Shaker, known for their established reputation and unique style, made it clear they were the latter. The night was off to a good start. Football: Lincoln City 4 - 2 Bolton Wanderers

Lincoln all but ended Bolton’s play-off ambitions on Easter Monday. This was achieved with a pulsating 4-2 win at the LNER Stadium, where veteran striker James Collins struck twice. Author - Sophie T Erik Ring and Reeco Hackett were also on the scoresheet for the hosts. Jay Matete and Alex Murphy replied for Bolton, who slipped to a fourth straight defeat at the worst possible time. The Imps took an early lead when Ring’s inswinging cross, delivered from a short corner routine, sailed through a crowded box and nestled into the far corner of Nathan Baxter’s net. Ben House went close to doubling the advantage, but Baxter saved well from his flicked effort. Moments later, Lincoln were awarded a penalty after Ethan Erhahon was bundled over by David Abimbola.  Collins then stepped up and lashed the spot-kick into the roof of the net to make it 2-0 after just 17 minutes. A battling point for Wigan Athletic against promotion chasing Wrexham Many fans would have certainly taken that before the match.
