Rugby League: Wakefield Trinity 12 - 20 Leigh Leopards

Leigh Leopards are one game from another trip to Wembley Second-half tries from Fanitesi Niu and Bailey Hodgson helped them through to the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup after a comeback victory at Wakefield Trinity. Author - Josh T Lachlan Lam's try put the visitors 6-0 up at the break before two quick tries after the interval from Matty Russell and Josh Rourke turned the game around to put the home side 12-6 ahead. However, there were some twists to come Rourke's knock-on led to a superb try from Niu to bring Leigh level, before Gareth O'Brien kicked a penalty to put them ahead. Wakefield again lost possession cheaply and Hodgson pounced to score the decisive try and send Leigh through. Stockport keep their automatic promotion hopes alive Isaac Olaofe scored a spectacular winner as Stockport beat Bolton to earn a double over their League One play-off rivals. Author - Josh T A huge away following from Stockport at the Toughsheet Community Stadium Wanderers, thrashed 5-0 earlier in the season, sensed little danger when Olaofe collected the ball on the left wing. However, the striker turned away from Eoin Toal before racing into the area and firing past Nathan Baxter for his 10th goal of the season after 71 minutes. Until then, Baxter, omitted from Bolton's previous 12 league games, celebrated his recall with superb saves from Benony Andresson, Kyle Wootton and Jayden Fevrier. Wanderers, who were beaten for the second time in five days, rallied late on but Josh Sheehan and top scorer Aaron Collins were denied by Stockport goalkeeper Corey Addai. Author - Josh T In a game full of attacking intent, Swindon took the lead twice through Tom Nichols and Harry Smith, but the Ammies responded each time, with goals from Hakeeb Adelakun and Kelly Nmai ensuring they headed back to the North West with a share of the spoils. Swindon made a blistering start, almost going ahead inside three minutes. Former Salford goalkeeper Connor Ripley launched a ball over the top for Kabongo Tshimanga, who found himself one-on-one with Jamie Jones. The Ammies keeper stood tall to make the save and then reacted quickly to deny Miguel Freckleton on the rebound. The hosts didn’t have to wait long to break the deadlock, though. Football News: Man United on verge of another signing

The Manchester United and Atalanta have agreed a £72m deal for Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund. Manchester United will pay £64m plus £8m in add-ons for the 20-year-old. In his 34 appearances last season, Hojlund scored 10 goals for Atalanta. You can see some of his best moments in the video below. Football: Lincoln City 4 - 2 Bolton Wanderers

Lincoln all but ended Bolton’s play-off ambitions on Easter Monday. This was achieved with a pulsating 4-2 win at the LNER Stadium, where veteran striker James Collins struck twice. Jay Matete and Alex Murphy replied for Bolton, who slipped to a fourth straight defeat at the worst possible time. The Imps took an early lead when Ring’s inswinging cross, delivered from a short corner routine, sailed through a crowded box and nestled into the far corner of Nathan Baxter’s net. Ben House went close to doubling the advantage, but Baxter saved well from his flicked effort. Bolton's play-offs dented again Bolton Wanderers' hopes of securing a play-off place took another hit as they suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Wycombe, extending their difficult run of form to three straight losses. The result leaves Wanderers outside the top six with just three matches remaining and puts serious pressure on their promotion ambitions. Stockport County confirmed their place in the play-offs This was secured with a late victory over a Huddersfield Town side that was reduced to ten men. Author- Josh D A closer look at what happened at Edgeley Park Josh Koroma gave the visitors the lead just after the hour, finding too much space on the edge of the box before drilling past Corey Addai. But County responded with resilience, skipper Fraser Horsfall heading home from an Ollie Norwood corner to draw the hosts level. The momentum swung firmly in County’s favour in the closing stages when they were awarded a penalty in the 86th minute. Norwood stepped up and calmly converted, sending Addai the wrong way to complete the turnaround.
