GMP: Five men charged in connection with high-value vehicle thefts

Five men will appear in court charged with stealing vehicles with an estimated value of around £730,000. A statement on the Greater Manchester Police website reads: They will all appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on Monday 16 May 2022 charged with conspiracy to steal and going equipped. The five are: Michael Andrews (12/09/1989), of Bingley Road, Rochdale John Langley (18/04/1994), of Moss Street, Rochdale Shaun Arif Andrews (30/12/1993), of Geneva Terrace, Rochdale Faizal Hussain (09/08/1993), of Shaw Road, Oldham Nazish Shakeel (28/05/1992), of Northmoor Road, Longsight All five men were remanded into custody ahead of the court appearances. They were arrested by GMP's Tactical Vehicle Intercept Unit on 13 May 2022 with the investigation carried out by officers from GMP's Trafford district. Recent surveys indicate a shift in how Britons approach Valentine's Day.  Author - Sophie T One study revealed that approximately 59% of individuals in relationships planned to celebrate the occasion, while 37% did not intend to mark the day. Among those opting out, 69% cited the holiday's commercialisation as a primary reason.  Further research by YouGov highlighted that 12% of British men spent over £100 on Valentine's Day celebrations, compared to 5% of women. Traditional gifts remain popular, with 43% of participants giving cards, 25% choosing chocolates, and 20% opting for flowers. The scary world of dating has changed in recent years. Many people choose now to download dating apps to try and meet no people. Is Tinder for millennials?  Research from YouGov has suggested that Tinder is most popular amongst millennials. Over 34% have a positive opinion of it. Further interesting insights point out that it is the 164th most popular digital service and the 57th most famous. We asked several people what they thought of it. Liam, a 28-year-old male from Oldham, said: "I don't mind it. It's increasingly becoming the way that people my age start new relationships." Sophie, a 29-year-old female from Rochdale, said she doesn't like it and prefers "to meet people the old-fashioned way."  Olivia T, a 29-year-old female living in Didsbury said: "I quite like meeting people online.
