Titled A Decade of Cavalcade, the tour will see the band perform the 2015 album in full, revisiting the brooding, emotionally charged sound that first captured listeners’ imaginations. It's both a nod to the past and a sign of how far they've come. And perhaps, where they’re heading next.

The announcement comes off the back of a landmark year for the band. Their latest album, Out Of A Dream, debuted at Number 11 on the Official UK Albums Chart, their highest placing to date, and has fuelled further momentum across streaming platforms.

With an ever-growing fanbase and a reputation for intense live shows, The Slow Readers Club appear to be hitting their stride.

Cavalcade marked a turning point when it landed in 2015. Tracks like Plant The Seed, I Saw A Ghost and Forever In Your Debt struck a chord with a generation of indie fans. Its atmospheric intensity and lyrical depth set the blueprint for the band’s sound and future success.

Support from fellow Mancunians James proved crucial in those early years. An invitation to join them on tour introduced The Slow Readers Club to a wider audience and helped cement their standing in the UK’s indie landscape.

Now, ten years on, they’ll bring Cavalcade back to life on stage, performing it in full alongside highlights from the rest of their catalogue. The upcoming shows promise to be a mix of nostalgia and forward momentum, a celebration of a landmark record and a band still very much on the rise.
