Rugby League: Leigh Leopards 24 - 10 Huddersfield
A fantastic start to the season from Leigh Leopards.
Can they challenge for honours at the end of the season?
Against Huddersfield Giants, they scored two late tries to finally see off the away side's challenge and make it two wins out of two.

A closer look at what happened
Leigh faced a tough battle to maintain their perfect record, but they rose to the challenge.
They got off the mark in this match with their first try of the season just eight minutes in. Brad Dwyer linked up with Lachlan Lam, who sent a looping pass over a static defence for Brand to collect and dive over.
The away side responded by ramping up the pressure, and their persistence paid off in the 23rd minute. Zac Woolford stabbed a kick over the line, and Wilson pounced to touch down.
Flanagan’s boot edged the Giants ahead at 6-4, and as Leigh started to make mistakes under pressure, their lead grew. A tip tackle from Edwin Ipape on Matty English gifted Flanagan another shot at goal, which he converted to make it 8-4.

Huddersfield were handed Leigh a lifeline just before half-time. An off-the-ball block on Lam as he chased a kick resulted in a penalty right in front of the posts, which Gareth O’Brien slotted over to cut the deficit to 8-6 at the break.
Leigh were immediately under pressure after the restart, conceding a penalty within a minute. Flanagan made no mistake, extending Huddersfield’s lead to four points.
However, the Leopards quickly hit back with a moment of brilliance. O’Brien slipped a neat pass to Armstrong, who picked a superb line through the Giants’ defence, sprinting 30 metres to score and level it at 10-10.
That try injected fresh energy into Leigh. They pushed Huddersfield backwards in tackles, and Alec Tuitavake was held up over the line before O’Brien nudged them ahead with a penalty in the 51st minute.
The decisive moment arrived with just 13 minutes left. With only two points between the teams, Wallis fumbled the ball near his own line, and O’Brien was quickest to react. He scooped it up and fed Davis, who crashed over next to the posts.
Leigh weren’t done yet. Armstrong, a constant threat whenever he found space, broke the line once again with five minutes to go. This time, he offloaded to Niu, who powered through to score his first Super League try for the club.
