Football News: Man United on verge of another signing

The Manchester United and Atalanta have agreed a £72m deal for Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund.

Manchester United will pay £64m plus £8m in add-ons for the 20-year-old. In his 34 appearances last season, Hojlund scored 10 goals for Atalanta. You can see some of his best moments in the video below.

His United contract will last for five years, with an option for an additional year.

United manager Erik ten Hag has now signed three players this summer, including midfielder Mason Mount from Chelsea and goalkeeper Andre Onana from Inter Milan.

Although United had been attempting to keep the fee below £60m, Hojlund was Ten Hag's first choice for the striking position. This was a key signing for the club.

Anthony Howard Wilson (known by many as Tony Wilson) was a British record label owner, radio and television presenter, nightclub manager and a journalist for Granada Television and the BBC.
