It's time for a good news story. This one involves students from Bury College raising money for Bury Hospice. Bury College Business students have been busy raising money for Bury Hospice as part of their college Course. Their course includes a unit called Business Events, and it was as part of this that the students decided to raise money for something close to the hearts of many.    The students were split into four groups, across two classes and each of them had to decide on an event they wanted to run. Abdisalan Ali (01/01/1998), of Gerry Wheale Square, has been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, following a fatal collision on the 20 February 2022. Ali was driving down Wilmslow Road in Parrswood, before being involved in a collision with two pedestrians, aged 64 and 71, who very sadly died from their injuries. Ali was remanded into custody and is due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Thursday 19th May.
